Barry
H. Morris Ph.D.
Barry designs development processes and organizations that achieve
desired results and positively influence the roles, responsibilities
and needs of people in organizations. He has a PhD. in Organization
Behavior and Development from Case Western Reserve University and
a Masters Degree in Social Work from Ohio State University. Barry
most recently served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources
and Organization Development for Chiquita Brands International.
He is currently very active in community development activities
in Cincinnati, and is immediate past President and board member
of Jewish Family Services, board member of the Jewish Community
Relations Council, and member of the Careers Task Force and adjunct
faculty for the School of Business Administration at Xavier University.
Barry’s research on internalized oppression drives him to
work with people in organizations, and to develop engaging processes
that enable them to become responsible and authentic participants
in their environments. He has combined his social work, organization
development and human resource capabilities with his executive
experience and created a consulting practice focused on the development
of businesses, organizations and communities. Through engagement,
strategic planning and alignment, organization development, and
human resource management Barry strives to improve results and
the meaningfulness of ones experience in organizations.
